BOOKING POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

                      Reservations:   Our toll-free reservations telephone number is 800- 4-ROATAN (800-476-2826). Reservations can also be made by e-mail: escape@bibr.com, by postal mail: Clifden Associates, Inc., 1370 Old Wilmington Pike, West Chester, PA 19382-1822, or by fax: 610-399-5265. Reservations are not confirmed until a non-refundable deposit of $100 per person, or $200 per room, (and for group rate customers only, a signed acknowledgment of the acceptance of these terms ) are all received in our office. If a payment is made by credit card, a signed credit card receipt must be received before you can check-in at the resort. By making any deposit or payment, you will be deemed to have accepted these Booking Policies and Procedures.

 Deposits:   A NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT OF $100 PER PERSON OR $200 PER ROOM, WHICHEVER IS HIGHER.   Space will be confirmed upon the receipt of a deposit on a first-come, first served basis. The full balance is due no later than 90 days (for groups of 12 or more who are using the group rate structure) or 45 days (for individuals and groups not using the group rate structure) prior to the arrival date. If a deposit was made by credit card, a signed credit card receipt must be received before you can check-in at the resort.

 Payments:  Discover,  American Express,  Visa, & MasterCard credit cards and checks in United States dollars are the only  acceptable forms of payment. Credit card payments must be confirmed with a signed receipt before you can check-in.  Groups paying under the group rate structure must make final payment by check.  Checks must be certified checks if less than 45 days before arrival date. Please make checks payable in United States dollars to Clifden Associates, Inc., 1370 Old Wilmington Pike, West Chester, PA 19382-8211. Prices quoted are subject to change at any time without notice and do not include any mandatory Honduran government sales or other taxes, entry and/or departure taxes or fees, bar tabs, contributions to the Marine Reserve and the recompression chamber, airfare or gratuities, etc. FOR GROUPS OF 12 OR MORE, FULL PAYMENT IS REQUIRED 90 DAYS PRIOR TO THE ARRIVAL DATE. FOR INDIVIDUALS, FULL PAYMENT IS REQUIRED 45 DAYS PRIOR TO THE ARRIVAL DATE. If we do not receive the full balance by the due date, we will assume that you have canceled your proposed stay with us. We will immediately cancel your reservation and attempt to resell your space. Late payments, if accepted, are subject to a 5% late fee. Partial payments, if accepted, are not refundable.

Commissions:   Commissions are paid to eligible agencies only on the normal Individual Rack Rates. Occasional special rates are not commissionable. 

 Cancellations:   We must be notified in writing of any cancellation. The record date will be the date the written notification is received in our office. All cancellations are subject to a $50 service fee. All deposits are non-refundable. Reservations canceled ninety (90) to forty five (45) days prior to the arrival date are subject to a forfeiture of fifty percent (50%) of the full rate. Reservations canceled less than forty-five (45) days prior to the arrival date are subject to a forfeiture of the full rate. If you are concerned about possible loss due to cancellation, we strongly recommend you purchase trip cancellation insurance.

 Changes: Once a reservation is confirmed, there will be a $25 service fee for each and/or any change. 

Refunds: Unused portions of packages, accommodations, meals and activities are not refundable for any reason including, but not limited to, airline delays, schedule changes, cancellations, inconveniences, weather,  sea conditions, acts of God, or any circumstances beyond our control. If you are concerned about possible loss due to cancellation, we strongly recommend you purchase trip cancellation insurance.

  Airline Reservations:    We can recommend travel agents who have low rate bulk rate contracts with the airlines that serve the Bay Islands. These agents can arrange both your domestic and international air connections.
